HotKup was born from operational chaos — not a corporate planning session. The founders were running a business, wearing multiple hats, managing clients across spreadsheets, email threads, and WhatsApp groups, and watching work fall through the cracks.

"We weren't looking for another CRM. We needed something that could run the whole business — from the moment a client says yes, through every task we needed to deliver, to the invoice going out the door."

So we built it. Not because we wanted to compete in the CRM market, but because we needed a tool that didn't exist: one that understood the real work of running a business. The chaos after the sale. The handoffs. The client communications. The recurring work that nobody wants to forget.

What started as our own internal system is now used by South African businesses across accounting, legal, IT, marketing, pest control, manufacturing, and beyond. The platform has evolved — but the mission hasn't changed: give small businesses the operational backbone that was previously only available to enterprises with IT teams and six-figure software budgets.

Built on three principles.

Zero Clutter

Every feature in HotKup earns its place. We don't add things because competitors have them. We add them because the businesses using HotKup need them — and nothing else.

Total Transparency

Pricing is published. Features are included. No hidden tiers, no upsells, no "call sales." What you see is what you get — and what you pay is what it costs.

Human-First Design

The people using HotKup are business owners, service managers, and field teams — not enterprise IT. The product should feel immediate, intuitive, and worth every rand.

Small team. Big ambitions.

A global crew from Canada, South Africa, and India. Each of us wears too many hats — which is exactly why we built HotKup.
